US-made tankless water heater offers commercial grade for residential use
Tankless water heaters are among the most efficient models on the market, and one company is delivering made in the USA options for homeowners.
At the 2015 AHR Expo, Taylor Shaw, national sales manager with Intellihot Green Technologies based in Galesburg, Illinois, reviewed the company's residential offerings.
Intellihot's design includes a heat exchanger made of surgical stainless steel that’s also self-cleaning and anti-scaling.
Shaw said some models also include a recirculation pump that circulates hot water through the lines to ensure on-demand hot water. The company also offers Combi units that heat water and the entire home with one system.
