Cork products enhances acoustics in commercial buildings (part 1)
A product called Cork Bricks, on display from producer Sustainable Materials at Greenbuild 2015, covers interior walls with the appeal of traditional brick but with a three-dimensional design, softer texture and warmer feeling. The application can be used in a variety of projects from offices to residential structures. Besides its visual appeal, the product brings considerable acoustic value. Cork Bricks are made of recycled cork from which stoppers are made for use in the wine industry.
