The 2017 Theme for World Water Day is ‘Wastewater’

March 14, 2017 | by Aerobe and Robust

The 2017 theme for World Water Day is ‘Wastewater’. The Bio-Microbics team created a video of people saying “Better Water. Better World.®” in several languages.

WORLD WATER DAY, held annually on March 22nd, focuses attention on the importance of freshwater sources and advocating for the sustainable management of water resources. In 1992 at the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED), it was decided that an international day to celebrate "water" was recommended. The United Nations General Assembly designated the first World Water Day on March 22nd, 1993.
