Greenbuild to showcase sustainable building's present, future

Greenbuild 2015, the premier international event for sustainable building, settles into the nation’s capital this week with an array of product showcases, workshops and ideas for growing the green-building industry.

More than 20,000 people from around the world will be part of the event, which runs from Wednesday through Friday in Washington, D.C., Convention Center. Greenbuild, the world’s largest convention and expo dedicated to green building, is hosted by the U.S. Green Building Council.

One of the featured speakers will be James Cameron, director of “The Terminator” movie series and “Avatar,” who will address climate change during Greenbuild’s opening session.
